Hi, I'm Colette, a New Zealander currently living and working in London. I'm actually Scottish by birth, and grew up mainly in the UK (with a short stint in Zimbabwe) before emigrating to New Zealand when I was thirteen. Having such a varied upbringing, I've always had a passion for travel and exploring new places and things, and in recent years I have developed a real love for food and the restaurant scene. When my job isn't keeping me busy, I take every opportunity to meet up with friends to soak up what London has to offer, whether it's at Michelin starred restaurants or pop ups deep in the depths of East London where I live - or anything in between. I'm not fussy as long as the food and service are good, and most importantly the ambience of the place is right. I also travel through Europe as much as I can (with the odd trip further afield) always searching out the best and most unique places to eat. My friends are always asking me for my food tips and restaurant recommendations so I thought why not record where I've been for others to enjoy which can also act as an aide-mémoire for all my foodie adventures.
